And I’ve already started buying go fast(er) parts.
FCR pumper carb came in today, supermoto wheels coming in next week. So much for just leaving this one stock...

That carb makes a big difference. Did you do the 3x3 yet?

Nope, previous owner never did, so rather than spend the time and money re-jetting the stock carb, I figure I’d just buy the damn FCR already set up and do the 3x3 at the same time.

What part of the country are you in? I have an extra Scott’s steel oil filter for it.

She’s a little bit dirty, but I got one hell of a deal. Actually including the FCR and supermoto wheels, I’m still almost $1k under the local used price for DRZ400SMs.

I’m in the Pacific Northwest, Oregon.

Wow you killed that deal, she looks clean to me.

I did, it was one of those rare deals where I saw it pop up on my phone (I use IFTTT) and knew it was going to be gone within the hour. This time was my turn to be the first caller I guess because the seller said he’d received 20 more calls by the time I got out and bought it.

Amazing I'm contemplating getting a 250 supermoto as a second bike.

Do it! Haven’t ridden it as a sumo yet, but from the time I’ve spent on it I know it’s going to be a fantastic second bike to my SV650.
You looking at the KLX or the WR, or are you one of those lucky guys whose state allows plated dirt bikes?
